Just before the close of Vung Ro Bay a typhoon hit. That is a
story in its self. I think Hebert and I should have gotten metals,
but the story was never told.
This is what it looked like after the close and the ARVN's stripping
everything that they could. We lived on the boats tied to a bouy in
the bay for probably a week after the close because the seas were too
rough to make the trip up the coast to Quin Hon.
